Just "being" together

Yesterday was a great day! Man, it's wonderful to have these relaxing Sabbath days together as a church. Most Sundays are a whirlwind of work and I'm exhausted afterwards. Of course, there's a reason we go through so much work setting everything up on Sunday morning but it's nice to take a break from that once-in-awhile.
Sunday we sang a few songs, I preached a bit on two of Jesus' parables, we shared communion and then spent a couple hours eating and roaming around the park. Sundays are usually a lot of "doing", this Sunday was a lot of "being."
