Sometimes crap happens

On Sunday, I shared with honest about the pain that Erin and I have been going through. I just heard a podcast from Woodland Hills Church on this same topic. Powerful, powerful message. To listen, click here and find the message "Held" from July 6th. Wow.

I listen to Greg Boyd all the time. He might very well be the best preacher I've ever heard! That dude challenges me.

I too have listened to that message. It is awesome! Greg Boyd is a great preacher! I really like his style. You know, you'd think with his Yale Divinity School and Princeton Theological Seminary education, you'd get a uppity-up intellectual style of preaching. But he's the complete opposite. I loved the simplicity of this message. He didn't try to get into and deep theological explanation of why things happen. Rather, we are just a fallen world and as much as it sucks, bad things happen. I'd like to go visit his church sometime. Church field trip??
