My left eye is twitching...

My left eye started twitching sometime late last week and it hasn't stopped since. It's the bottom part of my left eye, the muscle under my eye. This is making me a bit nervous. Erin wondered if it's stress related. I'm not sure...

I could use some prayer.

I will definitely keep that in prayer for you!

Debbie's eye was twitching a while back and she went to the doctor and he said it was stress related. She was under a quite a bit of stress at the time.

So hopefully that's the case with you.

Totally stress related.

I had this problem about a year ago for about 3 weeks straight. We were in the middle of our vision initiative and I was stressed to the max. Lack of sleep, exercise and proper nutrition were the the three biggest causes...started changing my sleeping habits, eating better and exercising more...no problems since.

It's clearly stress. I'm still excercising, sleeping, eating the same as I have for year. My stress level, however, has hit an all-time high.

So, what's going to have to change is how I manage a new level of stress. I haven't totally figured that out yet.

You could always hand your stressors over to God and let Him to do His thing! : )

While everyone is praying, you should go to the doctor and see what the real problem is. It could be stress, it could be overuse or not blinking enough or could be a bigger problem with the muscle. I don't think God caused it or has much input into fixing it. This one is best left to the medical professionals.

I didn't write the anonymous one, (shame on you, vanessa) but a professional looky-see wouldn't hurt (breathe in, breathe out...hee hee hoo)

Joe,
Why are you always throwing people under the bus on my blog?

I should report that my eye hasn't twitched for about 2 days. I guess I've gotten my stress under control.

Thanks for praying, everyone!

If it starts up again and continues for an extended period of time, I'll see a doctor.

And my wife will tell you how often I go to the doctor...
